This weekend I headed down to Miami, Florida and hopped on board the Carnival Magic cruise ship while it was in port for a special announcement. What was the announcement? Well, if you are a Carnival Cruise Line craft beer lover, brace yourself.
Where Can I Get Carnival Cruise Line Craft Beer?
Carnival Cruise line was the very first cruise line to bring it’s own brewery to sea and now they’re the very first cruise line in history to both keg and can their own craft beers.
What exactly does this mean? Well here’s the scoop. This means that if you want to indulge in a Carnival craft beer pint, like their Parched Pig line, you don’t have to be sailing on a vessel with a brewery on board like Vista or Horizon. Sure, you can still get those beers in the on-board breweries, but now that Carnival is kegging and canning it’s beers, these brews can be enjoyed across the entire fleet.
All twenty six ships are now going to be carrying three of their most popular and exclusive beers…Thirsty Frog Caribbean Wheat Ale, Parched Pig Toasted Amber Ale and my personal favorite Parched Pig West Coast IPA India Pale Ale.
And bringing the story even closer to home, local outfit Brew Hub is the one who will be handing production of this new venture by brewing, canning and kegging these beloved beers in it’s Lakeland facility.

Lakeland is conveniently located at the midpoint between the Port of Tamp and Port Canaveral and would make for a great excursion from either port.

Special thanks to Carnival for hosting me in Miami for this event. I was not required to write this post and all beer loving opinions are my own.
