Look…do you see my rosy cheeks?

That’s the foodie afterglow from this weekend’s Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Food and Wine Classic.

Yes. Yes. We all know that the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival is in full swing, but consider this. You can purchase a ticket to get into Epcot for $100 and then spend another $100 on tiny samples of food and drink while navigating throngs of people in the theme park or you can purchase a  Swan and Dolphin Food and Wine Classic causeway ticket for $105 and enjoy unlimited food and beverages.

Let’s take a look at this year’s event shall we?

My girlfriend and I started our “Girl’s Night Out” early. 4:30 p.m. to be exact when we took in one of the optional beverage seminars. These supplemental experiences will run you $50 which is a crazy value when you see what was offered…

The “Italian Wines” seminar included eight pours of wine (they added the eighth mid presentation), accoutrements and an education about the Italian wine region.

Y’all…red wine should only be experienced with Nutella.

The “Italian Wines” seminar wrapped up around 5:30 p.m. and we made our way out onto the causeway between the Walt Disney World Swan and the Walt Disney World Dolphin for more noshing and sipping.

There are high standing tables as well as traditional tables and chairs situated along the walkway for guests to relax and enjoy themselves.

The causeway has a nice mix of food, wine, beer and spirits.

The Classic has expanded every year and this year I saw two ‘new-to-me’ themed areas… “China Town” and “Carnival Corner”.

Carnival Corner was by far my favorite!

I noshed on Nitro Kettle Corn and I may have had more then one of these amazing hand dipped corn dogs!

China Town had its merits as well!

My favorite bite there were these Shanghai Pork Dumplings. Omnomnom!

If you’re into craft beer (lord knows I am) you can upgrade your causeway ticket to include the “Beer Garden”.

I highly recommend it!

Not only are there unique craft brews, but you will also find the perfect bar snacks to go along with them.

Cap your experience off with a little dessert and live music in front of the Dolphin’s multi-tiered fountain!
