It feels like the holidays have officially arrived as soon as ICE opens at the Gaylord Palms Resort in Orlando, Florida.
This special event has become a tradition for me and my family and something not to missed.
Every inch of this iconic hotel property is dripping with Christmas decorations.
2017 ushered in the addition of The Christmas Tree Trail which featured decorated pines from all over the world.
We also saw the return of the spectacular Cirque Dreams Unwrapped show which lights up the main atrium during the evening.
But the real draw is the massive carved ICE display which is open daily for guests to explore.
This year the ice sculpture theme is Christmas Around the World.
You can take a ride on the ice slides.
Afterwards take a stroll through the Alpine Village Market Square for some Christmas shopping.
Mango Italian Ice was my favorite treat this year inside the village.
I was excited to find out that Wreckers Sports Bar has added a vegan burger ? to the menu.
And we always have to make a stop into Old Hickory for a nightcap at the bar with my girlfriend Tianna.
We love making a staycation out of our ICE experience Be sure to book a room with an atrium view.
And don’t miss breakfast with Charlie Brown and Friends in the morning at Villa de Flora.
Christmas at Gaylord Palms Resort runs through January 7th. For more info and pricing visit Marriott.com
Big thank you to Gaylord Palms Resort for hosting me and my family for the purpose of this review.
