Food and atmosphere. It’s what makes a restaurant exceptional. You can’t have one without the other. A perfect blending of food and atmosphere is what Jason & Sue Chin offer up at the Osprey Tavern in Orlando’s Baldwin Park.
I had the privilege of experiencing lunch at the tavern a few weeks ago and I have a ton of photos to share with you.
Osprey Tavern describes the atmosphere as “strikingly bold while at the same time utterly familiar”.
The entire eatery is surrounded by large windows and the open kitchen gives the restarant an airy and expansive feel.
The Lunch Menu is broken down into Cold Plates, Sandwiches, Hot Plates and Desserts and the cocktails have been crafted specifically for lunch so as not mo knock you on your ass for the rest of the day.

The standouts for me were the two soups and o.m.g. the “smoked french fries”! The creamy tomato soup comes with a side of cheesy bread that resembles a small pizza. I also thouroughly enjoyed my “I Woke Up Like This” cocktail… Osprey Tavern’s riff on the Bloody Mary. The fried chcken sandwich was also a winner, winner and do NOT skip out on the “Brownie to Go”. Trust me on this.
