If you are looking for a more refined happy hour experience in Orlando, look no further than Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steak House on International Drive.
Dubbed “Del’s at Dusk”, it is the perfect spot to unwind after a hard day or begin a memorable evening. Unlike the happy hour at your local pub, Del Frisco’s sets itself apart as being a tad bit more luxurious and refined.
Signature cocktails are priced at nine dollars while bar menu bites are eight. They also carry a selection of beer and have more wines than I have ever seen in any one location in Central Florida.
A Breath of Fresh Pear
Grey Goose La Poire Vodka, Cointreau, White Cranberry Juice
The Gold Standard Mule
Russian Standard Gold Vodka, Fresh Lime Juice, Ginger Beer
Monkey Shoulder Scotch, Fresh Lemon Sour, Orange Marmalade, Angostura Bitters
Svedka Clementine Vodka Infused with Fresh Hawaiian Pineapple
Complementary Bread Service
Honey Mustard & Sweet Chili Sauce
Kurobuta Pork Belly Bao
Pickled Cucumber, Cilantro, Hoisin
Wagyu Corn Dogs
Creole Honey Mustard & Chipotle Ketchup
Lobster & Shrimp Dumplings
Ginger Lime Sauce & Sweet Soy
Chateau Potatoes, Bordelaise Sauce, Crispy Onions
We also indulged in a few items that weren’t on the happy hour bar menu but were instead off of the regular steakhouse menu. This dish is served as a side item but was a substantial portion size.
Lobster Maccaroni & Cheese
And the best part of any meal, especially at a steakhouse, …DESSERT!
Six Layers, Lemon Buttercream Icing, Lemon Glaze
Butter Pecan Ice Cream, Fresh Whipped Cream, Caramel Sauce
I wish I would have captured a better photo of this cake, but by the time we ordered it the sun had already set so I had limited lighting to work with. Del Frisco’s Buttercake, I can say with confidence, is the best damn dessert I’ve ever eaten in my entire life and I fully intend on going to happy hour on my birthday and ordering one and keeping it all to myself.
I hope these photos have convinced you to give Del Frisco’s a visit. Happy Hour is Monday through Friday from 4-6:30 p.m.
